A.    Standard of Competence:
1.      To understand the meaning of simple transactional and interpersonal conversation interactively and non interactively in formal and non formal Situation to communicate in daily life and / or academic contexts.


B.     Basic Competence:
1.1  To understand the meanings of simple and short transactional and interpersonal conversations explicitly using the following Language function: expressing and showing certainty and certainty, expressing and responding to doubt, asking for repletion, showing attention, and expressing amazement.

3.      Get the detail information of language function of: expressing and giving certainty, expressing and responding to doubt.

H.    Teaching Learning Activities
1.      Opening
1.1  Orientation     : focusing student’s attention to the expressing of; asking for and giving certainty, expressing and responding to doubt using audio/video, recording, or teacher’s models.
1.2  Apperception  : giving illustration about the expressions of; asking for and giving certainty, expressing and responding to doubt.
1.3  Motivation      : explaining the importance of the expressions of; asking for and giving certainty; expressing and responding to doubt in daily life activities.
1.4  Reference       : introducing instructional objectives (basic competence) to learn.

2.      Main Activities
2.1  Exploration
-       The students listen to the record about the expressions of asking for and giving certainty expressing and responding to doubt.
-       The students observe other dialogues about the expressions of asking for and giving certainty, expressing and responding to doubt in resource books.
-       Brain storming: the students answer the teacher questions orally related to the topic in the resource.

2.2  Elaboration
-       The students discuss in groups to determine the meaning of particular vocabulary and expressions in the modeled conversation.
-       The students analyzing the function of the expressions modeled by the teacher.
-       The students answer the question orally based on the dialogues given.
-       The students answer the written question orally based on the dialogues given.

2.3  Confirmation
-       Teacher gives comments about the student’s work/activities.
-       Teacher motivations the students to learn more about the learning materials.
-       Teacher facilitates the slow learner in the classroom with guidance or further explanation.

3.      Closing
-       The teacher asks the students’ problems during the leaning process.
-       The students summarize what have been discussed.
-       The teacher assigns the students to use the expressions already learned.
